No Guillaume on October 31st => please vote

I will be in France to visit my family and speak during the last week of October, and I will not be available to facilitate our mastermind call on Thursday, October 31st. As always, we have two options:

  1. We can call that "integration week," allowing you to apply what you’ve learned and work on personal or group projects.

  2. Someone else can use the time slot to present a project or an idea or teach something valuable to the group.

"What Do You Do?" Framework and Homework... for great work! 😀

In today's call, I shared an updated framework to answer the simple yet sometimes daunting question, "What Do You Do?". I am pasting a summary for you below.

👉 Homework for everyone - Work on this messaging framework this week and be prepared to practice next week. We will do it in breakout sessions of 10 minutes each (maybe 2 or 3 rounds), after which I will encourage you to refer your partners to people in your network with whom they can practice more.

Here is my draft. I feel like it's still very elevator like - I can't seem to think of a way to make it longer or more soulful. 

At Modern Appraisals we do residential & commercial real estate appraisal reports in Northern Ontario and the National Capital Region. An appraisal report describes to the reader what the property is, and how much it is worth based on comparable sales in the area. Residential appraisal reports averages 15 pages in length, while commercial reports can be up to 100 pages. 

Most of our work is for banks for lending purposes, purchases and refinances. However, we also complete work for accountants and lawyers for tax, estate, divorce or litigation purposes. 

We have created our own proprietary database that provides us with the most up-to-date information, enabling us to deliver accurate and comprehensive reports. 

People like ordering appraisals from us because they find us knowledgeable about the markets we serve, thorough in our inspection, research, and analysis, and efficient throughout the entire process, from taking the order to communicating during the process and delivering the report in a timely manner. 

Prior to launching Modern Appraisals, I worked with another appraisal company that printed everything, used outdated process and systems. I saw so much opportunity to optimize the process. For that reason, I launched Modern Appraisals to do it the modern way.

What have you done in the past that has gotten you bookings? 
Have you journaled/brainstormed on the action can you take to get more bookings?
What events can you attend to find more potential clients?
What can be said or done to encourage potential clients to book immediately? 

I know in my area, there are many tradeshows for psychics/mediums/intuitives, crystals/oracles and energy work that have great success. I know that when I go, I like to look around and pick up business cards/ flyers to book with them outside of the tradeshow setting.  Sounds like a potential place full of your target market?
